Our sculptural welcome identity for Yas Island is now installed and marking arrival for drivers crossing from Dubai and downtown Abu Dhabi. Designed for Miral Asset Management, the two freestanding sculptures needed to hold their own on a heavily trafficked ten-lane highway — a bold, unmistakable landmark rather than a conventional sign.

The forms draw on velocity and kinetic movement, referencing both Yas Island's F1 circuit and the fluid strokes of traditional calligraphy, finished in an iridescent chromatic paint that shifts with the light. A bespoke lighting design gives the sculptures a second life after dark, ensuring the arrival moment reads just as clearly at night as it does by day.
