Spaceagency is proud to be a finalist for the 2024 SEGD Award for its work on the Oman Across Ages Museum.
Nestled in the striking Hajjar Mountains of Oman, the museum’s architecture by Cox Architects (Australia) draws inspiration from the jagged, angular forms of the region’s primary mountain range. The design rises dramatically from the landscape, with triangulated earthen plates folding upward to create a bold, sculptural silhouette against the horizon.
Spaceagency’s wayfinding and signage system plays a pivotal role in shaping the visitor experience. Designed as a human-scale interface, it bridges the monumental architecture with the everyday journey of the visitor, ensuring clarity, accessibility, and engagement throughout the museum.
