Sarah Manning, Director at Spaceagency, was invited to present at the Sign Design Society’s online seminar, “UX for the Built Environment”, which took place on 29 January 2026.
In her session, Sarah explored how cities and architecture function as living interfaces, shaping the way people navigate, interact with, and interpret physical spaces. Drawing on key projects, she shared strategic insights into wayfinding, placemaking, and experiential design, offering a fresh perspective on how environments can become more legible, meaningful, and human-centred.
We’d like to thank the Sign Design Society for the invitation and to everyone who tuned in to listen and take part. The full talk is now available to watch on the SDS website, and we’re also sharing a short video featuring the Q&A session that followed the main presentation.
Enjoy!
