PROJECT LEADER
Spaceagency is looking for an experienced Project Leader to join our team in London. You will work on high-profile public realm and masterplan-scale wayfinding projects, moving into detailing and construction stages. You will have the opportunity to do site visits in locations such as the Middle East.

The Project Leader is responsible for leading projects and project teams within the studio. You will play a key role in client-facing design management, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality design work. This includes coordination of project vision, team leadership, and active participation in all design phases, from concept to delivery. The role combines strategic, spatial design and creative leadership with project management and team mentoring.
Responsibilities
Leading multiple concurrent design projects across all phases, from concept to delivery
Managing client relationships and coordinating project vision with internal teams
Supporting and mentoring team members throughout project delivery
Ensuring projects meet design excellence, timelines, and budget expectations
Preparing and managing project plans and team resourcing
Reviewing and overseeing detailed design and construction documentation
Ensuring alignment between client expectations and design outcomes
Contributing to strategic design thinking and creative development
Participating in studio management activities and design reviews
Maintaining high standards in communication and documentation
Qualifications
A professional degree in architecture, urban design, or related spatial design field
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a design studio or related practice
Proven track record of leading and delivering high-profile design projects
Strong portfolio including built work and experience across all design phases
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to manage teams and coordinate across disciplines
Proficiency in 2D and 3D software: Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, VRAY, Enscape
Strong analytical and conceptual design skills
Fluency in spoken and written English
Eligibility to work in the UK and availability to begin immediately
This is a full-time position based in London, based on a hybrid working with 4 days per week from our Holborn studio. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
