Spaceagency is proud to announce our appointment as wayfinding and signage design consultant for the new HSBC Global Headquarters - currently under construction on Newgate Street, in the heart of the City of London.

The project occupies the former BT Centre, a prominent landmark site a short distance from St Paul's Cathedral, and is being delivered through an ambitious collaboration between Hassell, Make Architects and interior designers IDSR. Together, the team is redefining what a global corporate headquarters can be: a building that performs at the highest level of operational complexity while contributing meaningfully to one of London's most historic urban quarters.

For Spaceagency, the appointment deepens a longstanding relationship with HSBC that has developed over several years and across multiple continents. Our work with the bank spans projects in Beijing, Shenzhen, Ningbo and Kuala Lumpur - a body of work that has given us an intimate understanding of how HSBC's people and clients move through, and experience, the bank's most significant spaces.

Bringing that knowledge to their global headquarters, in the city where HSBC has its roots, is a commission we are genuinely honoured to take on.
