STRATEGIC DESIGNER

Spaceagency is seeking a full-time Strategic Designer to join our team and work on exciting, high-profile international projects.

Spaceagency is a design agency headquartered in London, with offices in Milan and Guangzhou, working with clients globally. Our expertise lies in how people experience spaces. We design people's journeys through urban, cultural, sporting, event, retail, and hospitality spaces. Our international client portfolio includes cities, global brands, and collaborations with renowned architectural practices. Our current projects include public realm wayfinding, future city experience strategies, and exhibition design.

Our work integrates the technical rigor of architecture with insight into how people move in and understand buildings and urban spaces, bringing together urbanism and user experience design. This requires a strategic thinker who can translate analysis into design concepts and think at both the very large and very small scale simultaneously.

Technical qualifications and role requirements

• Master's degree in urban design, urban planning, landscape architecture, or architecture

• Strong analytical skills and strategic design thinking

• Knowledge of user-centred design principles and the ability to incorporate user feedback into design solutions

• Minimum 3 years' professional experience

• 3D software skills required: AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, and Enscape; Revit is a plus

• 2D software skills: Adobe Creative Suite

• Demonstrated design talent, with a portfolio of professional design experience

• Excellent communication skills — professional English, both written and verbal

• Immediate availability to begin work in London, with valid UK working rights already in place
